Himalayan Salt Stone Massage

Himalayan Salt Stone Massage uses warm salt crystals to soothe away stress and tension in order to help promote an increased sense of well-being. Its grounding properties also help improve sleep and balance the central nervous system. The stone's natural salt properties gently exfoliate the skin to promote and maintain naturally smooth and silky skin.

Swedish Relaxation Massage

Swedish Relaxation Massage is the most common and best-known type of massage in the West. If it's your first time or you don't get massage often, Swedish massage is the best place to start. The Swedish body massage is the combination of many different techniques rolled into one session. A Swedish body massage is the perfect way for anyone who is overly worked and stressed out to relax their body and mind. By relieving muscle tension, Swedish therapy can be both relaxing and energizing. And it may even help after an injury.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue massage is a massage technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy might be trendy now, but it’s not new. It dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures. One of the oldest medical textbooks in the world, the Ebers Papyrus, describes how the ancient Egyptians used cupping therapy in 1,550 B.C.

During a session, a cup (either made of glass, bamboo, earthenware or silicone) is first heated which creates a vacuum within the cup and then placed on the skin for several minutes. By warming the air within the cup, it is believed that the vacuum/suction created by the cup encourages blood flow, loosens fascia or connective tissue. This increased circulation ultimately promotes healing and reduces pain. The cups are removed by lifting one edge, which allows air in and breaks the seal and vacuum. It is similar to the way deep tissue massage can be used to break up scar tissue and reduce pain. The cups are often placed on the back, neck, and shoulders or the site of pain.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy, also commonly referred to as essential oil therapy, is a holistic healing treatment that uses natural plant extracts to promote health and well-being. Aromatherapy uses aromatic essential oils medicinally to improve the health of the body, mind, and spirit. It enhances both physical and emotional health.

A range of essential oils have been found to have various degrees of antimicrobial activity and are believed to have antiviral, nematocidal, anti-fungal, insecticidal, and antioxidant properties. Aromatherapy applications include massage, topical applications, and inhalation.

Sports Stretch Therapy

From serious athletes to weekend warriors, adding elements of this type of massage massage to your next session can enhance flexibility, help you recover from competition, and help prevent injuries from occurring. Stretch Therapy encompasses a wide range of techniques, including foam rolling, myofascial release, and active range of motion movements.

These techniques are used to treat certain physical problems associated with tight muscles and restricted joints. When performed properly, stretch therapy can prevent injuries and improve performance. Most stretching protocols are primarily aimed at increasing the range of motion of a join and the overall goal is to improve movement patterns involving that joint. Improved range of motion at joints generally facilitates better overall movement.
