Emsculpt is the first device to build muscle, burn fat, and sculpt your body simultaneously! It uses powerful electro-magnetic energy waves to induce rapid muscle contraction that can cause your muscles to fire up to 20,000 times per 30-minute session.
What is EMSCULPT?
Emsculpt is a phenomenal non-surgical and non-invasive treatment that is used to build muscle and help burn fat. It uses powerful, high-intensity, electro-magnetic energy waves to induce rapid muscle contraction that can help enlarge current muscles, as well as grow new muscle fibers. It has been proven to increase muscle mass by as much as 16% and reduce body fat by as much as 19%.* The Emsculpt procedure is FDA approved to treat your abdominals, buttocks, arms, calves, and thighs. It is also a great non-surgical alternative to the Brazilian butt lift by increasing muscle mass while toning and lifting the area.
How does EMSCULPT work?
Emsculpt is based on high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy. A single session causes thousands of powerful muscle contractions to augment and strengthen the muscle. These powerful induced muscle contractions are not achievable through voluntary contractions. The muscle tissue is forced to adapt to such extreme conditions. It responds with a deep remodeling of its inner structure that results in muscle building and sculpting your body. While it does reduce fat, its principal function is to build, strengthen, and tighten the muscles.
What to expect during EMSCULPT treatment?
The process is relatively painless. It's common to start at a lower power level and then work up in terms of power because going directly to 80 or 90 percent can hyper-stress the muscle and even cause a hernia. The contractions occur a few seconds apart and feel strange-like super-intense vibrations that reach your very core. This experience can feel slightly uncomfortable at first, but after a slight adjustment period, becomes easier. After a few contractions, the machine will switch over to a tapping motion to help break up the lactic acid being released by your muscles. While Emsculpt can emphasize definition and help reduce fat deposits on its own, the best results come when combined with a healthy diet and consistent exercise.
What sets EMSCULPT apart from the pack is its duality. It not only implodes fat cells (for a 19 percent loss after four treatments), but simultaneously builds muscle fibers (by roughly 16 percent) for more defined abs and rounder rear-ends.

Unlike CoolSculpting in which you are targeting the fat directly, the fat-burning caused by Emsculpt is more of a residual effect from what the device is doing to your muscles.
Many will combine the two and use CoolSculpting to have unwanted fat removed and then follow that up with Emsculpt to help firm, tone and build muscle.
